Artikel in „Theory Meets Practice in Projects“ von Stephen Rietiker, Reinhard Wagner (Eds., Text nur auf Englisch verfügbar)
This article presents a theoretical view of the requirements of theory and practice and of knowledge transfer between them. Prerequisites of, and limitations to, a successful transfer in both directions are discussed in order to deduce the conditions for developing personal competences in project management. We point out why and how both profound theoretical knowledge and wide practical expertise are necessary to become a competent project management expert.
